At United Way of Greater Charlottesville, we identify community needs, convene those closest to the issues, and collaborate on solutions to help everyone in our community thrive. Through our ENVISION initiative, we are currently focused on: 1) helping local families, individuals, and small businesses become economically stable and independent; 2) making high-quality early care and education accessible so all children reach their potential at school and beyond; and 3) empowering people, organizations, and businesses to come together as volunteers and partners to create a stronger, more vibrant community. We serve the City of Charlottesville and Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange. In our role as Ready Region Blue Ridge lead, we serve an additional 14 cities and counties in the Shenandoah Valley as far west as the City of Staunton and Augusta County and as far north as the City of Winchester and Frederick County.
