Universidad Santiago de Cali is a private, nonprofit higher education institution located in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. It offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs and operates under the supervision of Colombia's Ministry of Education. Founded in 1958, the university was granted legal personhood in 1959 and was later recognized as a university by decree in 1964. As a civil corporation, it maintains a sizeable staff and serves a broad student population within Colombia's private higher education sector. In May 2026, the university hosted the Valle 2026 Climate Forum, an event that brought together government entities, environmental organizations, social leaders, academics and citizens committed to climate action.
