University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital, a Joint Venture with Kindred Healthcare, is a freestanding, state-of-the-art, 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Our facility is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals 16 years of age and older who have experienced a variety of conditions including, but not limited to:
•Stroke
•Multiple trauma
•Brain injury
•Spinal cord injury
•Neurological conditions, e.g., Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and Guillain-Barré syndrome
•Hip fracture
•Amputation
•Burns
•Other orthopaedic conditions

UH Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is located just a short distance from University Hospitals Avon Health Center, with easy access to Interstate 90. Our smoke-free facility has convenient free parking for all visitors. The two-story, 58,000-square-foot hospital is located on a beautifully landscaped eight acres. UH Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is certified by The Joint Commission. We offer patients three hours of therapy per day, five days a week.
