University Innovation Fellows is a global program in the education administration field that seeks to prepare students with the attitudes, skills, and knowledge needed to compete in the economy of the future. Student leaders from campuses around the world collaborate with peers to catalyze greater levels of innovation and venture activity on their campuses. The program operates as part of Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, commonly known as the d.school, linking it to an academic design-thinking ecosystem. It began as an initiative of the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation (Epicenter). Based in Stanford, California, the Fellows serve higher education institutions and their students by supporting campus-level efforts to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and innovation ecosystems. In 2020, the program expanded with a virtual accelerator called UIF vs Corona, conducted between April 6 and April 18.
