The University of Louisville Athletics is home to 23 varsity sports and over 700 student-athletes who proudly represent our university, city, and a passionate devoted fanbase, the Card Nation. The athletes that wear the Red and Black join a family of  trophy winners, all-stars, first-round picks, gold medalists, world-record holders, and athletic icons who all share the edict: We play for the name on the front of the jersey, not on the back.
