University of Minnesota Medical Center is the flagship location of M Health Fairview, a collaboration among the University of Minnesota, University of Minnesota Physicians, and Fairview Health Services. Located on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, it comprises two hospitals and numerous adult specialty clinics on both sides of the campus. The center offers a broad range of care, from primary and emergency services to obstetric delivery of thousands of babies each year, and it treats patients with highly complex medical conditions. Its specialties include solid organ transplantation, blood and marrow transplantation, heart disease, and cancer.

As part of the M Health Fairview partnership, the center integrates university-level clinical expertise with community medicine to deliver care across the system. A recent development includes expansion of mental health services in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
