The University of Nizwa is a private, not-for-profit higher education institution based in Nizwa, Al-Dakhiliya region, Oman, about 140 kilometers from Muscat. Since its establishment in 2004, it has pursued a model that blends respect for local traditions with a commitment to progressive learning, and the campus is expanding with a new state-of-the-art facility under construction to support growth.

The university offers more than 30 undergraduate majors and six master's programs, serving roughly 6,500 students. Its graduates are prepared as lifelong learners with skills in numeracy, communications, critical thinking and problem solving, positioned to contribute to the country's economic, artistic and cultural development. In 2024, UoN announced a collaboration with GS Microelectronics, U.S. Inc. (GSME) to establish the Nizwa Advanced Technology initiative.
