Founded in 1962, the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) is a public, coeducational, land-grant Historically Black College and University (HBCU) located in the beautiful United States Virgin Islands. UVI enrolls approximately 1,800 students across its Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix, the Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas, its satellite campus on St. Martin, and online programs.

UVI offers a dynamic academic portfolio with 46 undergraduate and 10 graduate degree programs across five distinguished colleges and schools—empowering students to excel in fields such as business, education, public administration, marine and environmental science, nursing, psychology, and creative leadership.

The University proudly offers a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change, underscoring its commitment to advanced research, innovation, and leadership development across the Caribbean and beyond.
