Università degli Sudi di Torino is one of Italy's oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions. Based in Turin in the Piedmont region, it operates on a campus-scale footprint with a large student population and a substantial staff. The university comprises 27 departments and more than 70 libraries, hosts three Centers of Excellence in research, and runs programmes with unique national features.
