Up With Trees is a Tulsa-based nonprofit organization established in 1976 with a mission to beautify greater Tulsa through urban forestry. The group plants and maintains trees across streets, trails, parks, schools, fire stations, neighborhoods, and other public properties, and works to promote awareness of urban forestry through education. In addition to planting, the organization oversees ongoing tree care for thousands of trees to ensure proper pruning, watering, and replacement when necessary, aiming to sustain Tulsa’s urban forest. Education is a key focus, with programs that train citizens in tree care and engage youth in using trees as a learning tool to foster community involvement in urban canopy health. The organization operates within the non-profit sector and serves the Tulsa community and surrounding areas, leveraging donors and volunteers to achieve its goals.
