Upper South Studio is a factory-direct hospitality trading company that operates like a design factory. We work directly with mills and handle a large range of materials that include wovens, outdoor materials, blackouts, acrylics, leather, vinyls, prints, and sheers. Upper South’s clientele span hospitality, gaming, and travel and can be found around the world. We are dedicated to meeting budgets and specifications and works with both design offices and purchasing agents to make sure everyone’s needs are met. Recent projects include: Ritz Carlton Residences Waikiki, Four Seasons Troon, The Stoneleigh Hotel Dallas, New York Palace Hotel, Four Seasons Austin, Villa Feltrinelli, Viceroy Chicago, Hilton Canopy Portland, Marriott Marquis Chicago, MGM Luxor, Duke's Huntington Beach, The Breakers, and many others. USS was founded in 1979 as a production company and publishing house for the work of Laurence Rosen. Rosen's designs include wovens, printed fabrics, and graphic editions. Upper South’s growth has been managed by Susan Rosen, co-founder, and principal, who continues to oversee the Studio's ongoing evolution.
