On August 23, 2018, I made the faithful decision to scale my Urban Design Center consultancy practice of 28 years and emerge as a center for resilient innovation, development and enterprise. Efforts now manifest through collaborative investment strategies and pooled human capital structured to revitalize communities and build legacy wealth. Transformed through a tapestry of “Resilient Communities” podcast presentations and professional development forums paired with online and small group briefings, Urban Design Center is fusing collaborative energies, capacities and partnerships of vested concerns to construct visionary development projects and to propel enterprise ventures to maximum commercialization. We are creating a network for the band of change makers working to preserve and advance the economic vitality of the places that create our legacies and blossom who we are, how we live and what we experience. The Time is Now. We hear the words: Gentrification - Displacement - Moved Out - Bought Out - Sold Out - Dilapidated - Blighted - Transitioning These words can only become descriptors of our reality if we empower their benefactors with inaction and malign neglect.
