UG is a professional environmental engineering and consulting firm located in the City of Baltimore, Maryland.  We specialize in environmental assessment, design, and remediation services for real property located in the Maryland area, with the majority of our projects consisting of Brownfields-related due diligence.  We are a City of Baltimore certified woman business enterprise and a Maryland Department of Transportation certified woman business enterprise.

Urban Green’s environmental services range from the initial due diligence and site characterization services (Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments) to storage tank management, environmental construction monitoring, and development of risk management approaches to support current and future site use.  Risk management approaches may include the development and implementation of worker health and safety protocols, environmental oversight protocols, and response action/corrective action plans for remediation.  Urban Green Environmental also provides public participation support and assistance in the preparation of grant applications to support funding for environmental assessments and remediation.

Urban Green’s approach to projects is individually tailored to each client and project.  Our personnel have established relationships with the local, state and federal regulators.  We understand the complexity environmental issues may pose to a new or existing development and are adept at integrating local, state and federal policies, regulations and programmatic requirements to meet the client’s goals and ensure the protection of human health and the environment.
