The Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake (UICSL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Native American and Alaska Native communities along the Wasatch Front. We provide culturally responsive services, resources, and community spaces that support health, wellness, and overall quality of life. UICSL serves individuals and families from many tribal nations, including tribes Indigenous to Utah, as well as Native people who have relocated to the area for education, employment, or new opportunities. Our work is grounded in culture, community connection, and respect for the diverse experiences of THE PEOPLE we serve. We operate three locations to meet the needs of our community: Main Location & Cultural Center – our central hub for cultural connection, community gatherings, programs, and services Murray Clinic – providing accessible physical and mental health services West Valley Administrative Office – supporting operations, outreach, and program coordination Through our programs, UICSL offers access to health care, mental health support, preventive education, and essential resources. Our cultural center also serves as a welcoming gathering place, hosting traditional and community events that foster belonging, healing, and connection for those living away from their home communities. At UICSL, we are committed to strengthening Native communities, honoring culture, and improving the wellbeing of present and future generations.
