It starts with a vision and visions are about possibilities, ideals, and standards of excellence; as much as they are about people, bricks, and mortar. The plans we make are only as good as the visions that inspire them. Urban Visions' principals have been helping communities establish their vision for nearly 25 years. 


Plan: "a method for achieving an end."

Preparing planning solutions for any community is a process of discovery with the ultimate goal of rendering a client's vision into a sustainable program or project. It also requires a talented team with multidisciplinary expertise and experience. While only recently incorporated, the principals at UVI have been helping communities in the United States and China achieve real world solutions to urban planning issues for many years.


Design: "to create, fashion, execute, or construct according to plan."

UVI prides itself on preparing creative, functional and cost feasible designs for the community based on the community's vision for a meaningful place.  We have all experienced the reality of having expensive plans "sit on the shelf".   The communities we partner with have been there before and look to us to create plans that can be implemented within budget and true to the vision that created them. 


Grow: "to cause to develop or flourish."

Our designs bring together the many features of place-making, environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic vitality into creation of communities that can become distinct and memorable.
