UrbanPromise began in Wilmington in 1998 under the leadership of Rob Prestowitz. The ministry has grown to include 6 after-school programs, 6 summer day camps, the StreetLeader job training program for teens, and UrbanPromise School (primary school) and Academy (secondary school).
