Valextra is an Italian luxury leather goods house founded in 1937 by Giovanni Fontana and based in Milan, Lombardy. Its handbags and luggage are crafted to balance meticulous workmanship with design that reflects its Milanese origins. The brand is known for discreet signature details, such as a black-edged Costa finish, hand-painted Inchiostro lines, and the Pergamena White shade, and it traces its heritage through iconic pieces like the Tric Trac wrist bag (1968) and the Iside handbag (2011).

Valextra operates in the luxury retail sector for discerning customers seeking refined, durable accessories rather than conspicuous branding. Recent developments include a Dubai flagship opened in 2024 and a Milan Design Week 2026 showcasing a transformation of its Via Manzoni flagship.
