Valley Fig Growers is your source for California-grown Dried Figs. Since 1959, our fig grower owned cooperative was established in Fresno, California. We are the largest dried fig handler in North America. All of the commercially sold dried figs produced in the United States are grown in the Fresno area and north, in the fertile San Joaquin Valley. California represents 10% of the world production of dried figs. Valley Fig Growers markets its products both domestically and internationally, offering both industrial and retail products. Retail brands include Orchard Choice and Sun-Maid brands, with Blue Ribbon as our food service and industrial brand. Industrial products include: whole figs, fig paste (seeded, deseeded, textured), diced/sliced figs, fig concentrate, and extruded figs (e-diced and colored & flavored). Bakeries love our fig ingredients for classic bar cookies, bread, and baked goods. For food service customers, our dried figs add interest to salads, cheese plates, pizza, entrees, desserts, cocktails, and more. Our fig concentrate and figs are ideal for breweries to add craft beers.
