The Valley Park School District has a long, rich history of providing quality education since the opening of the first elementary building, Hill School, in 1882. Today, with low student-to-teacher ratios and all school buildings located on one campus, the district offers a private school atmosphere in a public school setting. 

Educational excellence is evident in the district’s fully accredited rating by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the North Central Association accreditation. The District is honored for Distinction in Performance by the State of Missouri. Valley Park High School is a designated A+ High School, a National Blue Ribbon school, a Missouri Gold Star School, and is consistently listed in the top schools in the state and country by US News & World Report and Newsweek. Our Middle School is a two-time National School of Character award recipient.
