HISTORY 
vanderToolen Associates (vTA) was incorporated in 1996 in Napa, CA on the principal of creating innovative, enduring, and unforgettable landscape solutions. Our success is a testament to our Clients who have repeatedly tasked us to design transformative and memorable landscape environments. In our commitment to Client service a second office was opened in Walnut Creek in 2014 followed by a third office located West Sacramento opened in 2017.

PROCESS
We believe in constant Client interaction in every phase of design from inception through preparing construction bid documents and project site administration. We have a proven commitment of delivering design solutions in a timely manner within established budget and program requirements. We also understand the need to work within an interdisciplinary environment and frequently collaborate with fellow design consultants including architects, civil engineers, sales and marketing researchers, utility, and environmental consultants.

PASSION
Landscape architectural design is why we exist – it’s who we are and what we do! vTA consists of a collaborative group of individuals who place a high priority of maintaining our commitment of providing personal and responsive service that defines our core culture.
