Vantage is a Deluxe expedition cruise, small ship ocean cruise, river cruise, and land adventure travel company serving travelers and travel agents since its founding by Henry R. Lewis in Boston in 1983. Celebrating 38 years as a family company in 2021, Vantage has received accolades from Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, USA Today, Cruise Critic, and was voted the leader in solo travel by Solo Traveler. Today, journeys reach all seven continents and more than 80 countries, and half a million Vantage travelers have experienced the culture, history, and wildlife of their dream destinations. EXPEDITION CRUISES The Ocean Explorer and Ocean Odyssey, built for expedition travel with ULSTEIN X-BOW® technology, bring guests on adventures that scale the world from Antarctica to Indonesia to Iceland. Guided by an 8- to 17-person Expedition Team of wildlife experts, equipment masters, and more, guests enjoy enlightening lectures onboard and greetings of the wild when they land onshore via Zodiac craft. SMALL SHIP OCEAN CRUISES Blending luxury small ship cruising and intimate cultural discovery are the Ocean Explorer and Ocean Odyssey — built with just 77 cabins including a landmark 15 solo cabins — and offering world-class amenities such as a top-deck infinity pool, a spa, a unique hot-rock cooking restaurant, and more. Each journey features eye-opening excursions to some of the world’s most iconic cities and undiscovered gems. RIVER CRUISES Travelers can sit back and enjoy the ride on our deluxe fleet of 5-star river ships, which navigate both Europe’s storied waterways and Egypt’s ancient Nile River. Our river cruises offer an array of accommodations, including custom-built solo cabins and each ship has a maximum of 177 travelers or less for an intimate experience. LAND ADVENTURES Today, Vantage operates select small-group land tours and African safaris that feature exclusive stays Iganyana Tented Camp and The Wallow, located on two esteemed national parks.
