The Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens is a civic and social organization based in Astoria, New York, serving as a community hub for youth. Founded in 1955 by local residents seeking a constructive alternative to gang activity, the club aims to help young people reach their potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The 30,000-square-foot facility is open seven days a week and houses a swimming pool, makerspace, computer room, teaching kitchen, gym, auditorium, art and dance studios, a film studio, and an outdoor playground. It serves more than 4,000 youths each year and is described as the largest youth development organization in Western Queens.
