We are a full service engineering/architectural company that specializes in designing food processing and food distributing facilities (dry and refrigerated).  We have extensive experience with facilities process compliant with USDA and FDA regulations and are licensed in about 40 states. 

Since beginning business in 1993, VCP&A has produced designs that have resulted in more than $2 billion in assets being constructed.  While many designs are for “Greenfield” projects, approximately 60% of our work involves the expansion, renovation and reuse of existing facilities.

Our company is founded on the belief that there is a need for engineering services tailored to your specific corporate and project requirements.

Before beginning a design, we interview the  client to determine what is important to them.  We make a conscious effort to begin determining what the facility will look like only after we understand the priorities.  We call this Process Programming and it results in a written document outlining what is important to the people who will be using the facility.  This document guides the remainder of the design process.  As questions arise, they are tested against the program and differences are reassessed with the owner.
