Veldhouse Insurance Agency was established in 2003 by Chad Veldhouse and was located in Bloomington Minnesota. The agency originally did business under the Allstate flag.

Veldhouse Insurance moved to Cottage Grove, Minnesota in early 2005. In January of 2007 Veldhouse Insurance severed its contract with Allstate Insurance and re-opened as an independent insurance agency. As an independent agency Veldhouse Insurance Agency was able to obtain many contracts with multiple insurance carriers such as AAA Insurance, Progressive, and the Hartford. This gave the agency the ability to compare coverages and premiums.

In March of 2007 Veldhouse Insurance moved it's office to its current location. Since the new office opened in 2007 the agency has acquired several new companies such as Allstate (Encompass), Liberty Mutual (Safeco), Travelers Insurance, Dairyland, Wilson Mutual, Farmers (Foremost), Unitrin (Kemper), Fidelity, Victoria and more.
