Verity is Sonoma County's only rape crisis, trauma, and healing center, offering prevention, intervention, and counseling services to survivors, their support networks, and the wider community for more than four decades, operating as a small to mid-sized nonprofit. Based in Santa Rosa, California, the organization runs a Counseling Department that provides individual and group counseling for survivors of sexual assault and their supporters. Its Prevention Department offers free prevention programs for all ages, available in English and Spanish.

Verity also invites volunteers and interns to serve as crisis line counselors, prevention educators, or office staff, with involvement coordinated by the Intervention Manager. In late 2023, the organization underwent a leadership transition with the retirement of its executive director.
