Vested Finance is the next generation of student financing. With the student loan debt crisis at $1.3 trillion, we are committed to providing a way for students to reach their full potential without the burden of debt repayment. Our mission is to help ensure American competitiveness and entrepreneurial spirit through equity financing of students' higher education. Vested Finance will issue an Income Share Agreement (ISA) to each selected Vested Scholar. Through this ISA, the student is provided financing for his or her higher education in exchange for a percentage of the student's future income for a defined period of time after he or she finishes school. An ISA offers the student strong repayment protection because unlike a loan, there is no principal balance to repay. Depending on the level of success the student has after school, the student may ultimately pay more or less than the original amount financed. It takes the debt burden out of play, allowing more freedom and encouragement for the student to pursue education paths and career goals he or she may have otherwise not followed. At Vested, we will couple this debt-free financial instrument of an ISA with a premier mentoring program comprised of industry leaders to guide students throughout their education and early career choices. A world-class app will educate students and their parents on equity-financing and enable them to simulate school and career choices to see comparison data on financing options and earnings potential. The Vested app will also connect users to the Vested Scholar community, including other students and business leaders within the Vested network.
