Open Letter from the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer

We regret to inform you that effective June 30, 2014 (the end of our Fiscal Year 2014), Veterans Green Jobs has shut down all of our program activities, including outreach to veterans, fundraising, low-income residential weatherization and fee for service activities in HVAC repair and installation. Due to the loss of our State contract, we will no longer provide low-income residential weatherization services to Denver and Jefferson counties in Colorado. Veterans Green Jobs will continue to exist as a non-profit organization for the immediate future, but with very limited staffing and virtual operations. 

Despite this unfortunate turn of events, we stand proud of the many accomplishments by Veterans Green Jobs over the past five years in providing veterans' employment services in the environmental and energy sectors, and in providing residential energy efficiency services to improve the quality of life of citizens in our region. Thank you for being a part of this important mission and for your commitment to those who have served in the uniform of our Armed Services.
