VHA Home HealthCare is a not-for-profit charitable organization based in Toronto, Ontario, founded in 1925. The organization employs more than three thousand professionals across roles including nurses, personal support workers, rehabilitation therapists, home support workers, and office staff. It delivers care to vulnerable populations in clients’ homes and other community settings, serving seniors, families, new parents and newborns, people with physical and mental disabilities, children with medically complex needs, and the terminally ill. Care is provided around the clock, seven days a week in clients' homes, in schools, in retirement residences, and in other community locations. In April 2026, VHA introduced the Evha AI Assistant within its myVHA client portal to support its home health services.
