The Virginia Center for Health Innovation (VCHI) is a Virginia-based nonprofit formed as a public-private partnership to accelerate the adoption of value-driven wellness and health care. It brings together health care providers, health systems, health plans, pharmaceutical manufacturers, employers, consumers, and government to work on health reform in the state. The organization is based in Henrico, Virginia. It has pursued initiatives such as efforts to improve vaccination rates in western Virginia and to reduce unnecessary medical tests and procedures through statewide pilots and collaborations with primary care sites and health systems.
