The Virginia Dental Association (VDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to continually improve the quality of dental education and treatment within the state of Virginia. We are affiliated with the American Dental Association (ADA). The structure of our association is known as "tripartate" in that a member of the ADA is typically a member of three associations at once. The first being ADA, the "national association", the second being the VDA or "state association", and the third being the local or "component" dental society. The VDA has a Board of Directors who govern and direct the association.
