Viseca operates within financial services, focusing on card-based payments and providing tailored products and services that enable cashless transactions. The group is organized into two entities: Viseca Payment Services SA, which consolidates the company’s card-processing capabilities for banks that issue cards, and Viseca Card Services SA, which handles card issuing for banks and end customers. It is wholly owned by Swiss retail and cantonal banks, including the Raiffeisen Group, cantonal and regional banks, Migros Bank, and Bank Cler, and it is based in Zürich, in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland. In March 2026, Viseca Card Services SA launched PayInit, an industry solution to enable global peer-to-peer transfers using Swiss-issued payment cards, developed with Cornèrcard. This development reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to broaden cross-border card-based transfer capabilities through partnerships with banks and fintech collaborators.
