Visit Phoenix is a nonprofit organization that promotes Greater Phoenix to a global audience of travelers and books conventions into the Phoenix Convention Center and surrounding hotels and resorts. We exist to grow the city’s visibility, impact, and reach.

The Welcomer
In partnership with more than 900 member businesses, Visit Phoenix brings business to Greater Phoenix, from leisure visitors to group meetings across bioscience, tech, and manufacturing to major sporting events. This rare blend of desert clarity and urban energy turns sidewalks, skylines and authentic hospitality into reasons to gather, travel, and thrive.

The Place Translator
Just four miles from the airport, downtown unfolds as a walkable core where 80% of restaurants and bars are locally owned. Universities pulse through the grid, desert trails wind close to the city, and cinematic sunsets frame a skyline still rising. We translate these textures of city and desert into a sense of place that travelers and planners can connect to instantly.

The Matchmaker
We cultivate and maintain relationships with convention and meeting planners, journalists and influencers, travel agents, and tour operators, aligning people with venues, ideas with opportunities and stories with audiences.

The Invisible Hand
Visit Phoenix produces marketing and brand campaigns that promote leisure travel and meetings, coordinates site visits, conducts media tours, and maintains the region’s official tourism website. We orchestrate the behind-the-scenes details so planners, travelers, and partners experience the city with ease.

The Scene Setter
For planners, Phoenix offers a contiguous convention campus, diverse venues from historic warehouses to pro-level stadiums, and a visitor experience that consistently converts interest into attendance.
