Visual Thinking Inc. (formerly Quality Methods International/QMI) was established by Dr. Gwendolyn Galsworth in 1991 as a consulting, training and research firm, specializing in the technologies of the visual workplace.

The Visual-Lean® Institute was formed in 2005 to train and license internal and external instructors and consultants in all nine core courses or visual workplace technologies. We are a virtual institute, holding trainings across the USA and in the UK, Europe, and Australia.
