Vivergo Fuels is a world scale biofuels business based in the East Riding of Yorkshire. At full production, we can produce up to 420 million litres of bioethanol and 400,000 tonnes of animal feed. 

The plant will use around 1 million tonnes of locally sourced, feed-grade wheat, which is converted into bioethanol and animal feed products with virtually no waste.

The company is one of the biggest bioethanol producers in Europe and the largest single source supplier of animal feed in the UK.

Vivergo’s bioethanol offers Greenhouse Gas (GHG) savings of over 65% versus standard petrol production, the equivalent of removing 260,000 cars from the road each year. 

Its animal feed production provides the protein requirements for around 20% of the UK's dairy herd.
