Vivid is a ISO 9001:2015 certified coating supplier operating out of three bay area locations. Vivid offers high-end coating technologies such as thermal spray, plasma, arc coatings, waterborne coatings, EMI/RFI shielding, powder, semi-conductor "thick film" coatings, as well as screen and pad printing. Vivid also provides Manufacturing as a Service and Project Management through our network of fabricators. Our company provides coatings for Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductors, Medical, Military, Solar, and Refurbishment Industries.

Thermal Spray:

Thermal Coatings are an industry which entails heating material to a molten or semi-molten state and using compressed air or gas to shoot the heated material onto a substrate for a variety of applications. Vivid can Plasma spray Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia for a Thermal Barrier and Electrical Insulation Coating, Cold Spray pure Copper for a conductive coating, Arc Spray Zinc for a EMI/RFI shielding application, and many more!

High Performance Coatings:

Vivid is a one stop turnkey operation that can handle all high performance coating needs. We can coat a product for EMI/RFI shielding, thermal/electrical conductivity, dielectric issues, corrosion/abrasion issues, and lubrication necessities.  We could then, within the same building, build a custom enclosure for your high performance product and print your name on it through a variety of different methods. Our ability to solve such a large array of productivity issues is what makes us such a valuable asset to our partners.
