+ We have witnessed the demise of industrial arts and shop classes over the last few decades. As a result, the number of people with critical hands-on skills in this country has greatly diminished. This has created a massive manufacturing Skills Gap due to the lack of places to learn such skills. We are effectively solving this problem... + We teach fundamental, hands-on skills in a dozen different manufacturing subjects. We are the place people discover their love for making. + We're not a trade school. Instead of teaching one skill for hundreds of hours, we teach a breadth of skills. We are creating a multi-skilled workforce for an ever changing world. + We offer unique programs, such as: Maker Professional Apprenticeship, Maker Skills Academy (gap year) program, and cost effective, bootcamp-like, multi-skill training courses. + We welcome anyone over the age of 14 and are open 7-days-a-week for our students to practice and refine their new skills. We serve local schools, companies, and community members. + We are the ideal solution for workforce development, an effective retention tool for our educational partners, and provide much needed skills training for many other partner organizations. + We are planning to expand throughout the US and are looking for strategic academic, corporate, and industry partners.
