Vogt Ice, LLC is a Louisville, Kentucky-based machinery manufacturer that designs, builds, and distributes ice-making equipment and related parts for commercial and industrial use. The company specializes in producing tubular and plate ice systems capable of delivering ice outputs from about one to 125 tons per day, serving customers such as packaged ice producers, food service operations, resorts, casinos, and industries like fisheries, poultry, agriculture, and thermal energy storage. Historically rooted in the development of automatic-sized tube ice, Vogt Ice traces its origins to the 1930s as part of the Henry Vogt Machine Company, and continues to operate in the heavy equipment space that supports large-scale ice production and cooling applications. Recent developments indicate organizational changes in 2023 involving the sale of the Turbo division assets to Turbo Products, LLC, reflecting ongoing restructuring within the firm’s portfolio. The company’s footprint spans manufacturing and distribution activities from its west Louisville location, with a workforce focused on industrial ice equipment and spare parts for global customers.
