Welcome to the Vox Theatre; it’s a fantastic space that I’m sure will be perfect for your wedding or corporate celebration. Some of the major advantages of the Vox are the old theatre architectural features – the entire tin ceiling is still intact and was completely restored this year, the large volume – it has a 20’ high ceiling, it’s 44’ wide and the main event space is 84’ long, gives you a wonderful open space, with incredible sightlines, to truly celebrate the night of your lives, we’ve rebuilt the stage area and found some sweet curtains, restored the old valance lighting and that really hits the high-note on the theatre theme. In addition to this it has incredible access – it’s ten minutes from downtown, ten minutes from Overland Park and right off I-35. Although it was originally built as silent movie theatre in 1922 it now has a flat floor, so you won’t have to deal with any sloped floor nonsense here. Oh yeah, we’ve got an 18’ ceiling fan, seriously 18’. We have A/C, and the two are superb together, crank it up and give it a try. One partners that I particularly want to highlight would be our immediate next door neighbor, Deco Catering. What’s not to love about a caterer who cooks right next to your venue; particularly when they’re so flexible.
