VSI Global, LLC is a Cleveland-based facilities services company founded in 1994 to manage floor-care equipment for a national chain, beginning with a single client seeking phone support for vacuum repair issues. It has grown to become North America’s largest independent remanufacturer of vacuum cleaners and now handles a broad range of cleaning equipment, from portable vacuums to large arena-sized machines and electrostatic sprayers. The company’s remanufacturing process involves fully disassembling each unit, replacing worn parts, cleaning and finishing, and quality control before the equipment is returned to inventory, rather than performing onsite repairs. 

It serves more than 72,000 facilities across 16 countries, reflecting its widespread reach in the industry. Sustainability is a core part of its approach, with remanufacturing supporting a circular economy and contributing to 15 million pounds of waste kept from landfills (about 250 tons per year). In January 2019, Matt Rudolph was appointed president, marking a notable leadership update.
