The WAGO Group is a leading global supplier in the fields of connection and automation technology and interface electronics. As a family business, the company has developed continuously since its foundation in 1951. Today, the Group employs around 9,000 people worldwide, including around 4,400 in Germany, where the headquarters are located in Minden in East Westphalia and another site in Sondershausen in Thuringia. The WAGO Group consists of nine international production and sales locations, 19 additional sales companies and the software expert M&M Software. In addition, the company has representatives in over 80 countries, giving it a global presence. Since its founding in 1951, WAGO has continuously expanded its production capacities. In addition to its headquarters in Minden (North Rhine-Westphalia), the company has been producing in Roissy (France) since 1971, in Domdidier (Switzerland) since 1977, in Milwaukee (USA) since 1979 and in Sondershausen in Thuringia and in Tokyo, Japan since 1990. Further production sites have been established in Delhi, India, since 1995 and in Tianjin, People's Republic of China, and Wroclaw, Poland, since 1997.
