AWEX, the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, is a public body focused on promoting foreign trade and attracting foreign investment for the Walloon region. Its mission is to help Walloon companies expand their exports and to strengthen the international visibility of Wallonia. The agency is based in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean in the Brussels region of Belgium, and it operates as a mid-sized public organization. It serves Walloon businesses seeking to export and those considering investment in the region, providing services to facilitate international engagement and market access. In 2023, AWEX partnered with Tartfashion on January 1 and began collaborating with T-Art, a French firm that specializes in direct online sales and is recognized as a leading TikTok Shop Partner. These partnerships illustrate AWEX's efforts to broaden export channels and the international reach of Walloon enterprises.
