Wapsi Valley Archaeology is dedicated to providing its clients with professional cultural resources management services for Section 106, National Historic Preservation Act, compliance. We offer a full range of services and professional assistance with all phases of archaeological and historical investigations, including archaeological survey, site evaluation, excavations, historical research, grant proposal preparation, and preservation planning.
Established in 2001 and incorporated in 2002, Wapsi Valley Archaeology, Inc. is a DBE and registered small business with offices in Anamosa and Ames, Iowa.  Since its founding, the company has undergone substantial growth each year. Wapsi Valley Archaeology, Inc. was founded on the concept of providing archaeological investigations of the highest professional caliber.  We are dedicated to the goals of historic preservation at the community, state, and national levels.  We believe in the importance of educating the public about historic preservation and in the importance of volunteerism and community service.
