Washington & West, LLC, is a full-service denial and appeals management company that focuses exclusively on recovering fees for hospital and health care systems that are wrongfully underpaid or denied by Medicare, Medicaid, or other insurance providers. Founded in 2002 by Linda Fotheringill and Tracy Wade, attorneys and nationally-recognized denial and appeal specialists, Washington & West understands the challenges of working with large volumes of time-sensitive, highly detailed cases in the ever-evolving world of health insurance. Recognizing a need for a more systematic approach to denials and appeals, Washington & West worked with leading technologists to develop a robust software, Quantum Appeals© (QA), that improves tracking and reporting methodologies, facilitates collaboration among experts, and ultimately enables hospitals to increase profitability by lowering their denial rates and overturning more claims. Today, Washington & West uses Quantum Appeals to manage denials and appeals for many of the nation’s leading hospitals and health care systems.
