The Washington University Law Review is a student-run academic journal that publishes legally related scholarly articles and aims to foster dialogue within its law school and the broader legal community. The publication releases six issues annually and uses a rigorous editing process to review substance, support, clarity, and citations for each piece. It is based at Washington University in St. Louis, in St. Louis, Missouri, and traces its origins to 1915, originally named the St. Louis Law Review before evolving into the Washington University Law Quarterly in 1936 and adopting its current title in 2006. In 2017, the Law Review Online was established to supplement the print edition with shorter-form analyses of current legal issues.
