Weigel Broadcasting Co. is a family-owned media company based in Chicago, Illinois, with roots spanning more than five decades that began with its first station, WCIU-TV. It operates a portfolio of national television networks and local broadcast stations, and it runs MeTV FM, a nationally syndicated classic music radio format, serving 29 U.S. markets including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Its networks include MeTV, Movies!, Catchy Comedy, H&I, Start TV, Dabl, Story Television, MeTV Toons, and WEST, while its local outlets carry affiliates of CBS, ABC, The CW, MyNet, Telemundo, and Univision in addition to independents. In April 2026, Weigel announced a partnership with OpenAP to provide advertisers with improved data and access to inventory across its portfolio. The arrangement, alongside its broad network footprint and local availability, positions Weigel as a multi-platform broadcast provider serving both viewers seeking classic entertainment and advertisers seeking scale across multiple markets.
