WeldFab Manufacturing is a small- to mid-sized metal fabrication provider serving the mining sector from Wisconsin. The company began in 1990 as Weld-Fab Manufacturing Corp, founded by the Hahn family in Hartford, focusing on minor weldments. It expanded its capabilities, relocating to a larger facility in Slinger and adding sheet metal fabrication, welding, and tube processing. Ownership transitioned in 2021 to local leaders Kelly Wendorff and Kale Wenzel, who have begun pursuing growth strategies with a goal to roughly double the company size within three years. The firm remains focused on mining applications, providing fabricated components and assemblies to support equipment and maintenance needs. The organization reported a notable staffing increase in the early period under new leadership, signaling an expansion trajectory.
