Welte Roofing was founded by Larry Welte in the West End of Pittsburgh, PA in 1946. It has remained a family owned and operated business faithfully serving Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas for over 70 years. What began as a small roofing company grew into a large commercial roofing powerhouse in the Pittsburgh area before specializing in high-end slate, tile, and copper work. We now service all types or residential and commercial roofing and have the experienced technicians to do so.  Our crews have on average sixteen years of combined experience in the industry.
