Located in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, NH Wentworth Senior Living is a nonprofit senior living community dedicated to ensuring ALL local seniors are receiving independence when they want it and care when they need it.

Although we can provide the comprehensive healthcare services available in a nursing home, we’re anything but. Our living spaces are quiet and comfortable. Clinical support is offered, as needed, in a private, respectful manner within residents’ own apartments. Common areas remain communal, cozy, and home-like, devoid of distracting and noisy nurses’ stations. 

Our highly trained professional staff values the time they take to engage and build relationships with residents they genuinely respect and love. 

We are a hybrid provider of senior services, only one component of which is residential. Both within and beyond our physical walls, we advocate for seniors while honoring their individual strengths and capacities. As a nonprofit, our philanthropy and programming help all seniors in the community live healthy, connected lives.
