West Chin Architecture and Interiors is a full-service architecture, interior design, and decorating firm with locations in New York City, East Hampton, Westport, and Miami. With deep local roots and a global perspective, the firm is guided by the belief that great design listens to its surroundings. Our sensibilities are global in approach, yet personal and local in execution, allowing us to create meaningful spaces anywhere in the world.

Founded in 1992 by principal architect West Chin, the practice has grown from a design/build foundation into a leading studio known for warm modern architecture and interiors. West’s philosophy combines style and functionality, using minimal, clean lines to create fluid, light-filled, and inviting environments. The firm’s work spans residential and commercial projects and has been featured in international press, magazines, and design books.

The team is also the creative force behind West | Out East, a set of design showrooms that present modern furniture, lighting, kitchens, rugs, closets, and accessories. Together with West’s FTF Design Studio collection, these spaces extend the firm’s practice, sharing custom designs originally made for private clients with a broader global audience.
