Western Wildlife Corridor is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit urban land trust conservancy dedicated to protecting, restoring and preserving natural habitat through direct land protection and through the promotion of responsible land use. Since 1992, the WWC has worked to preserve and restore the greenway corridor of wooded hillsides along the Ohio River from the Mill Creek near downtown Cincinnati to the Great Miami River bordering Indiana. A key focus of our efforts is habitat restoration, which includes the removal of non-native, invasive plant species. The WWC educates the public about the benefits of preserving greenspace as natural habitat, and hosts events promoting nature awareness and education at its Kirby Nature Center.
